The BBS RT88 wheel is a motorsport-derived design engineered to combine authentic racing heritage with the durability required for high-performance road vehicles. Developed through close collaboration between BBS Motorsport teams in Germany and the United States, the RT88 adapts the engineering philosophy and visual identity of the legendary BBS E88 racing wheel for modern street and track-day applications.

The wheel features a forged multi-spoke center inspired by the E88 combined with a high-strength forged barrel derived from the BBS LM wheel program developed in Japan. This architecture enhances structural rigidity while reducing unsprung mass, improving steering precision, suspension responsiveness, and overall vehicle dynamics. Unlike pure racing wheels, the RT88 incorporates durable protective finishes and improved air retention to ensure reliable operation under everyday road conditions.
